11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Kalyra Winery, Santa Ynez
The Wine Country Weekend is 4 days of wine, food and fun.
You will receive one wine tasting flight (4-6 tastes) at each of our 13 participating tasting rooms.
On Saturday and Sunday we'll be serving appetizers to compliment the different varietals. Many owners and winemakers will be on hand to answer your questions and talk about the wonderful world of wine.
Your Wine Country Weekend passport includes 13 tastings, appetizers on Saturday and Sunday, a souvenir wine glass, and a wine tote bag.
You may visit the winery tasting rooms in any order you like between 11am and 5pm on all 4 days, however some tasting rooms will open earlier, or stay open later. Hours and addresses will be listed in your passport.
Participating tasting rooms:
Alexander & Wayne, Arthur Earl, Buscador, Buttonwood Farm Winery, Ca' Del Grevino, Carivintas Winery, Casa Cassara, Dreamcote Wine Co, Imagine Wine, Kalyra Winery, Lincourt Vineyards, Lucky Dogg Winery and Rideau Vineyard.
Wine Country Weekend passports will be mailed to you in late-January.
Wine Country Weekend Passports are non-refundable and non-replaceable, but they are transferable. There are 13 tastings on each passport, you may use them all, or give unused tastings to a special someone.
Every pour is approximately one ounce, and each wine tasting flight contains 4-6 pours. That is the equivalent of having a full glass of wine at each winery.
Do not hesitate to "taste and spit," you will not offend anyone. You'll also find dump buckets on every tasting bar.
Ask questions. Your wine pourers are a wealth of information. They are there to share their knowledge. Learn, taste and love.
Some of our tasting rooms are small, and can not accommodate parties larger than 6 people. If you have a larger party, please divide the group, and alternate between tasting rooms. Alternatively, you can call ahead to make a reservation.
This is a very popular event and tasting rooms can become crowded. Ideally, it is best not to bring your dog or children with you on this weekend.
Bring your ID with you, it makes everyone's life easier. Please taste responsibly.
