2006 Kalyra Merlot

Sourced from our very own Vifia de Santa Ynez, the fruit for this marvelous wine was handpicked at night fermented and placed in French Oak barrels for just over two years. It was bottled and aged for an additional 7 months, resulting in an extremely approachable wine, complete with bright berry flavors and a subtle finish. With both excellent growing conditions, and a bountiful harvest, we were able to produce this beautiful wine, and sell it to you at an amazingly low price. Consider this our "Recession Red"; a small gift to our family our Wine Thieves, and new customers alike for hard times such as these.
